Studies on the History of Polish Military Historiography

were founded in 1975 by professor Benon Miśkiewicz. Studies on the History of Polish Military Historiography they are the only scientific journal dealing with the problems of military historiography, both Polish and foreign concerning Poland. On the pages SzDPHW the results of historiographical research related to the history of the Polish army from the earliest times to the twentieth century are announced. The articles are published by young adepts of historical science as well as experienced scientists from academic centers throughout Poland and Europe.
Studies on the History of Polish Military Historiography are the only scientific journal dealing with the problems of military historiography, both Polish and foreign, and referring to the history of Poland and its neighbours. In the pages of Studies … the results of historiographical research related to the history of the Polish army from the earliest times to the twentieth century are announced. As well as the analysis of source databases, editions of sources and reviews of historical and military books. Redakcja przyjęła zasady etyki publikacji zgodne z wytycznymi COPE – Komitetu do spraw Etyki Publikacyjnej.
